THE LUNAR PARK
ABOUT
What started as LUNAR LOUNGE, a drive-in Lounge for people to come in, have food from within their car, smoke sheesha and relax - did not bring in enough footfall, sales or curiosity among customers about the place. As it happens the business had also been through a rough patch of robbery and vandalization in the location. So in order to reboost the footfall, and rebuild trust in the community, we rebranded the place and introduced a new business model.
TRANSITION
Eating from within the car was an appealing business model when cars were a material of show-off and status. But the post covid-era crowd were neither interested in showing off their cards, nor in having a meal inside it.
So we shifted from being a drive-in lounge to being a Premium Multi-Cuisine Food Court that happens to have parking but also welcomes walk-ins.
This was meant to not only entice people with abundant options in food, multiple cuisines bringing a sense of community among people from similar or different backgrounds.
RESULTS
The transition in business model, the rebranding and a full blown marketing campaign about the place brought so much hype and footfall for the place that it went from 'barely book during weekends' to 'fully booked during weekdays'
The place also saw a skyrocketed increase by 400% in overall revenue.
